Whisky is slowly gaining popularity among young people, some like the taste of whisky, some like the culture of whisky, but some like whisky because it has a high health value.

Prevention and Control of Cancer

Whisky is a “miracle” alcoholic drink for cancer patients. It is rich in antioxidants and can inhibit the growth of cancer cells. The ellagic acid in whisky is a natural antioxidant that prevents the spread of malignant cells and stops DNA coming into contact with certain carcinogens. In experiments, it has also been shown to reduce the adverse carcinogenic effects that chemotherapy can have on the body, as it slows down the oxidation process in the body.
